We warmly invite you to join and support the Lynnwood Residents’ Association (LRA) - a long-standing, community-driven body dedicated to preserving the character and quality of life in our suburb.
A strong, active membership gives the LRA the mandate and credibility to influence planning decisions that affect us all.
Together, we can help shape a future that reflects the needs and values of our community.
Membership empowers the LRA to act effectively on your behalf by:
Monitoring and responding to rezoning and land-use applications;
Providing updates and advice on property developments;
Coordinating collective responses to planning proposals (like the RSDF) and engagements with specialists in the field as well as officials responsible for planning in our region;
Facilitating community engagement on development matters, including liaising with our Councillor, Ms Muller, and overarching regional associations like OPERRA and MERA;
Supporting the creation of a Precinct Plan for Lynnwood North - a legally recognised framework for guiding sustainable growth.
Registered property owners in Lynnwood North; and
Residents directly related to a registered owner of property in Lynnwood North as defined in section 2 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and who support the LRA’s mission, i.e. spouses and life partners, and where the owner is a non-human entity like a company, the person who controls it.
A minimal amount of R200 per member per year (to cover administration, communication & IT costs).
